Of course, Leavenworth has many collectibles shops.
Every time we are in Leavenworth, we stop in at Haus of Angels to talk to the friendly proprietress and catch up. She has the best collection in Leavenworth of Jim Shore figures. We love his designs and have several pieces we bought there, and next time we're in town we'll undoubtedly buy more. (If you have been to the Haus of Angels shop that was in the middle of Front Street, it has now moved to 217 9th Street). They also have a second store in the Motteler Building.
I remember years ago, when we were first married, going into Die Musik Box and listening to the music boxes. Yes, they have "normal" music boxes, but they also have music boxes that really are fine musical instruments. Ask one of the people in the store to play the "big" music box. Also very nice clocks and other collectibles.
Another fun shop is Gifts From Russia. They have dozens of different kinds of Russian nesting dolls as well as other beautiful Russian gifts and collectibles.
The Village Alps is a very different kind of store. They have gourmet foods and sauces that they make themselves. They have a shop in town, but the main store and factory is up Highway 2. They have been there for 47 years. They started out making fudge and peanut brittle and sold paintings. Now the shop makes and sells other foods and candies as well as a variety of collectibles. The factory and store burned to the ground in March 2010 after a propane lamp exploded during a power outage. After rebuilding, The Alps is opened again and going strong.
While not in Leavenworth, Apple Annies, in Cashmere, is a great place for collectibles. Over the years we have found a number of treasures there. It is a HUGE store! Over 70,000 square feet of booths with everything you can imagine.

The Road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow, if I can,
pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way
where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
